REPORTING TO: Chief Financial Officer
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee the daily management of office facilities, including the administration of office supplies, equipment, and maintenance services;
- Oversee the Group’s Insurance requirements;
- Ensure the office space is consistently functional, clean, and well-maintained;
- Develop and maintain strong vendor relationships, handling contracts for office supplies, cleaning, and facility maintenance;
- Organize logistics for company events, meetings and conferences, ensuring seamless execution of all arrangements;
- Keep office records, filing systems and databases well-organized and up to date;
- Act as the main point of contact for employees regarding office services and general inquiries;
- Coordinate travel arrangements and accommodations for staff and international visitors; and
- Perform other duties as delegated by the Chief Financial Officer.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, management, or a related field;
- Proven experience in office management and general affairs;
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with various stakeholders;
- Strong problem-solving skills and exceptional attention to detail; and
- Ability to travel as needed for off-site meetings or events.
REPORTING TO: Chief Financial Officer
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Financial Management:
- Overall managing the Group’s financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and auditing;
- Ensure that the financial transactions, policies, and procedures meet the organization’s short and long-term business objectives and are conducted in accordance with regulations, accounting principles, and standards.
- Taxation:
- Preparing and updating tax computation;
- Liasing with Tax Agent on tax queries and submission of annual income tax returns.
- Financial Reporting:
- Oversee the preparation and communication of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements;
- Ensure timely reporting of key financial data and updates to the Exco Committee, Board of Directors, and other key stakeholders.
- Secretarial matters:
- Liasing with Company Secretaries and Share Registrar on the Group’s secretarial requirements.
- Strategic Planning:
- Develop and implement the financial strategy of the company, includes long-term financial planning and forecasting, risk management, and investment strategies.
- Compliance:
- Ensure legal and regulatory compliance regarding all financial functions. This includes tax planning and compliance with local, state, and federal tax regulations.
- Leadership:
- Direct the finance and accounting team, to ensure on-going improvements in processes as well as their ongoing professional development and training.
- Any other duties assigned from time to time by the Chief Financial Officer.
REQUIREMENTS
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy or Finance, and/or Professional Qualification such as ACCA, CIMA, CPA or equivalent;
- A member of Malaysian Institute of Accountants;
- At least 6 years of working experience;
- Experience in Public Listed Companies;
- Required skill(s): MS Office (Excel, Word & PowerPoint);
- Knowledge of corporate financial law and risk management practices;
- Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods;
- Proficient in accounting & financial management software;
- Experience in investment relations;
- Good communication, interpersonal & analytical skills; &
- Strong leadership, critical thinking and decision-making skills.
REPORTING TO: Senior Accounts Manager
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Financial Accounting:
- Managing the day-to-day accounting functions;
- Checking employees’ claims;
- Coordinating and preparing financial records for audits and internal audits purposes;
- Participating in financial forecasting, managing cash flow, funding, and budget allocation;
- Maintaining financial records;
- Banking:
- Liasing with bankers on operational matters eg internet banking, application of credit facilities, etc.
- Any other duties assigned from time to time by the Senior Accounts Manager.
REQUIREMENTS
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy or Finance, and/or Professional Qualification such as ACCA, CIMA, CPA or equivalent;
- Fluency in Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin, and English;
- Knowledge of computer programs like Microsoft Office;
- At least 3 years of working experience;
- Required skill(s): MS Office (Excel, Word & PowerPoint);
- Proficient in accounting software (SQL).
